Rachelle Reichert’s curiously constructed portraits of the irrational and exquisite beg the for the re-examination of feminine identity, beauty, and expectation in popular culture. Her paintings result in new, unexpected poetic forms to investigate the monstrous, seductive, and beautiful aspects of human experience. Rachelle attained her B.F.A. Boston University and graduate studies at the New York Academy of Figurative Art in New York City. Her work has been nationally and internationally exhibited including exhibitions at the German Consulate in New York City, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Galleria il Sotoportego in Venice, Italy. She received commissions by Red Bull, Inc. and the Boston University Medical School to permanently display her artwork. Currently, Rachelle is a resident artist at Root Division in San Francisco, California.
