At this time of year, thoughts inevitably turn to family, friends…and finding the perfect gift with the perfect meaning.

By donating to Root Division you are not only giving back to your local community, but supporting open access to the arts; we offer free art classes to over 500 underserved children, affordable studio space to young and emerging Bay Area artists, and a much-loved public event and exhibitions program.

This year as always, we are leveraging the volunteer commitment of 19 Studio Artists and dozens of others to really make your contribution count:

• $50 buys art supplies for 10 students
• $100 supports free art education for one student for the entire school year
• $250 subsidizes a volunteer’s art studio for one month
• $500 trains a new teacher
• $1000 invests in new technology
• $2500 funds a monthly exhibition of innovative local art
• $5000 dedicates our classroom as a safe & inspiring place to learn

Your gift can be given in honor of an art-loving friend or family member, as a dedication for that person who just has EVERYTHING, or simply because you love what Root Division is doing and want to keep us thriving.

Each month of 2012 offers opportunities to connect and be inspired. From affordable art classes for adults and youth to free events on the second Saturday of every month, involvement at Root Division can be a year-round activity. We hope you'll be a part of 2012 with us.
